Dvorak Joins Partnership for Patient Safety
Chicago, January 16, 2003 - Partnership for Patient Safety (p4ps) announced today that Mitchell L. Dvorak, MS, was named Associate Director of p4ps. Dvorak served in previous positions with the North Dakota Medical Association, American Medical Association and, most recently, the National Patient Safety Foundation. His responsibilities are varied and extend to all aspects of p4ps management and program development and implementation.
Dvorak brings extensive training and experience in program development and association management to p4ps. His particular skills include strategic planning, project management, grant writing, and relationship and consensus building among diverse stakeholder groups. "We're exceptionally pleased to have Mitch join p4ps," said Martin J. Hatlie, JD, President of p4ps. "The skills he brings to the organization will help us expand our scope of activity in a number of directions. Partnership for Patient Safety will be able to do more to promote a consumer-focused healthcare system with Mr. Dvorak on the team." Dvorak studied Political Science/Public Administration as an undergraduate and holds a graduate degree in Public Service Management from DePaul University.
